Associate Attorney
Alyssa Miller is an attorney at Dellino Family Law Group. She earned her degree from Southern Utah University before attending law school at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. Her practice focuses on family and domestic matters including divorce, legal separation, custody, establishing or modifying parenting plans, financial matters including property and asset division, child and spousal support, protection orders, and post-decree modifications or contempt issues.
My Approach
I recognize that every situation is unique, and that the issues at stake when separating or going through a divorce are deeply personal with lasting effects. It is a major transition affecting your entire life. Dividing assets, setting up a custody or parenting plan, and maybe dealing with a high conflict spouse can be overwhelming. Despite this, my goal is to be your advocate, help navigate the process, and ultimately transition into the next stage of life in the best way possible.
I pride myself in being a strong advocate, understanding your goals, and working towards a solution that makes the most sense for you and your family moving forward. I can work to settle or negotiate issues out of court, or will prepare your case, if necessary, to dispute the issues in court.
Background
I have spent time as a domestic violence advocate, helping secure protection orders, and have also worked as an attorney in juvenile delinquency and dependency courts. I have experience in a wide range of family and domestic matters with my focus being on assisting individuals in navigating the legal system, and going after the results they are legally entitled to.
Outside of work, my time is spent mostly with my partner and two dogs. I love being outdoors, kayaking, and enjoying the pacific northwest. On weekends I love attending sporting events (go Mariners!), grabbing a drink on a patio, and trying new restaurants.
