Paralegal
Jye Zehring is an experienced paralegal, and has worked in the legal field since 2015. They love problem solving, and their detail-oriented, organized nature helps them excel as a paralegal. In addition to experience, Jye also brings warmth, care, and understanding into the role. Having been through a family law case themselves, Jye draws on past experiences as a client to inform their work, helping clients to have the best experience they can.
Jye’s name rhymes with chai, their favorite drink on a cold, misty day. They live with their partner and a “zoo” of critters – three cats, three rats, a dog, lizards, snakes, and a very grumpy frog. Jye is a natural history nerd, artist, crafter, and photographer. Unsurprisingly, they love animals, especially the unusual or overlooked, and bonded with their partner over slugs on one of their early dates. They enjoy going on casual nature adventures with their partner and their dog, making (very) frequent stops to photograph moss, ferns, flowers, slugs, mushrooms, bugs, trees…and nearly everything else they encounter. Jye grew up in Central Pennsylvania and moved to Oregon after graduating from Kutztown University. From there, they moved to Kansas City, MO, living there a few years before making their way back to the Pacific Northwest.
