My Approach
Family law cases sit at the intersection of legal complexity and some of the most personal moments in a person’s life. I am drawn to this work because of the people at the center of it. I believe that even in the most difficult situations, creative problem-solving and genuine advocacy can lead to outcomes that work — for clients and for their families.
I approach every case as a partnership. That means taking the time to understand what matters most to you, thinking creatively about solutions, and advocating hard on your behalf every step of the way. Whether we are working toward a negotiated resolution or litigating a contested matter, my focus is always on your best interests and long-term wellbeing.
Background
My path to family law was not direct. Growing up, I wanted to be a doctor — until the science requirements suggested otherwise. In college, I explored the arts before settling on practicality — a degree in accounting. Working full-time during college as a paralegal at an estate planning law firm changed that trajectory. It was there I found my way to the law. That led me to law school, where I clerked for a family law attorney – and family law is where I’ve been ever since.
About Me
The arts bug I picked up in college never went away. I spend time exploring galleries, discovering new artists, and slowly building a personal collection. I am a novice photographer, a dedicated cinephile, and someone who takes music seriously – always hunting down the next great record and happy to share recent Spotify discoveries with anyone willing to listen.
Outside the office, I am most at home in the mountains or near the water. Whether I am skiing a backcountry line, hiking a ridgeline trail, or chasing a river downstream, time outdoors sharpens the clarity and perspective I bring to my work. I have equal appreciation for the ocean and a good lake or river, and will rarely turn down either.
