Discovery Attorney
Garrett Filetti is a Discovery Attorney at Dellino Family Law Group. She helps clients navigate divorce, custody matters, parenting plans, and other family law issues with a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach. Drawing from experience across litigation, mediation, and collaborative divorce, Garrett understands that every family’s circumstances are different and that successful outcomes require both strategic advocacy and practical problem-solving. She is committed to helping clients move through difficult transitions with clarity, confidence, and a plan that supports their long-term goals.
My Approach
I understand firsthand how overwhelming and emotional the divorce process can feel, which is why I focus on meeting clients where they are and helping them feel informed and supported throughout their case. Family law is deeply personal, and I believe the best outcomes come from understanding each client’s unique priorities, concerns, and family dynamics before building a strategy tailored to their needs.
My background in litigation, mediation, and collaborative divorce allows me to approach cases from multiple perspectives. Whenever possible, I work toward practical, cooperative solutions that reduce unnecessary conflict and help families move forward productively. At the same time, I am fully prepared to advocate aggressively when litigation becomes necessary to protect my clients and their interests. My goal is always to help clients make confident, informed decisions while guiding them through one of the most significant transitions in their lives.
My Background
When I began practicing law, I represented clients across a broad range of matters, including real estate disputes, probate litigation, criminal defense, and family law cases. Over time, I found myself drawn most strongly to family law because of the opportunity to help people restructure their lives and create workable solutions for their families after separation or divorce. I was especially drawn to the creativity and problem-solving that family law often requires.
In addition to my litigation background, I am trained in collaborative divorce and mediation, experiences that have shaped my balanced and practical approach to conflict resolution. I value helping clients understand their options and empowering them to make decisions that align with both their immediate needs and long-term goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy novels and occasionally working on a novel of my own. I spend as much time outdoors as possible hiking, camping, and horseback riding, and I proudly embrace my role as “Super Aunt” to my three nieces. During baseball season, you can usually find me watching the Atlanta Braves. I’m also frequently joined in virtual meetings by my four “paw-ralegals”: two dogs and two cats.
