Samantha Stanfill is an Associate Attorney at Dellino Family Law Group. She is committed to helping clients navigate difficult family law with compassion, clarity, and thoughtful advocacy. Samantha approaches each case with an understanding that legal issues often arise during some of the most vulnerable and uncertain periods of a person’s life. Her goal is to create a comfortable and secure environment where clients feel heard, informed, and confident in the legal process.
Samantha brings valuable courtroom experience to her practice, having worked as a prosecuting attorney prior to transitioning to family law. Her experience handling negotiation, motion practice, and trial work has provided her with a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy, case strategy, and navigating challenging legal issues. She brings that experience to each client’s case while remaining focused on the individual circumstances, goals, and needs of the person she represents.
My Approach
Legal matters can be overwhelming, particularly when clients are facing circumstances they never expected to find themselves in. One of the most important parts of my role is helping clients feel comfortable, secure, and supported while navigating an unfamiliar and often stressful process.
I approach every case with empathy, practicality, and determination. I take the time to listen and understand what has brought each client to my office, what matters most to them, and what they hope to achieve. Clients deserve an attorney who is not only willing to fight for them, but who will also take the time to explain their options and help them make informed decisions.
My courtroom and trial experience has taught me the importance of preparation, strategy, clear communication, and being ready to advocate for a client when circumstances require it.
At the same time, I recognize that every client and every situation is different. Some matters call for collaboration and thoughtful problem-solving, while others require firm advocacy and a willingness to fight for what is important. I strive to meet each case with compassion, responsiveness, and a practical strategy tailored to the individual client.
Background
I was born in Riverside, California, and raised in Southern California. My interest in advocacy began during my undergraduate years at the University of California, Riverside, when I found myself in a vulnerable position and learned firsthand how important it can be to have someone willing to advocate for you. That experience shaped my desire to pursue a career where I could provide that same sense of support and advocacy to others.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of California, Riverside before moving to Oregon to attend Willamette University College of Law. I graduated with my J.D. in 2024 and was admitted to practice law in Washington and Oregon later that year.
Since becoming an attorney, I have served as a prosecuting attorney, gaining hands-on courtroom experience handling misdemeanor matters and participating in trial work. This experience has given me an early and valuable foundation in litigation and advocacy and continues to inform the way I approach each case.
In addition to her legal practice, Samantha serves on the Washington State Bar Association’s Court Rules and Procedures Committee and New Members Committee. She values opportunities to contribute to the legal profession and remain engaged with the broader legal community.
About Me
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, painting, and gardening. I also love exploring Washington, discovering new local places, and traveling domestically, with hopes of adding more international travel to the list in the future. I especially enjoy attending Seattle Mariners games and spending time with my dogs and cats.
My household includes Daisy, an 11-year-old Chihuahua; Kona, a 7-year-old Dachshund mix; Rhys, a 1-year-old Boston Terrier; and three cats, Coco, Loki, and Ozzy. They keep life busy, entertaining, and never short on personality.
