Who You Are
You’re a sharp, strategic thinker with a “let me fix that” reflex. You know what it means to have a sense of urgency. You know that time lost hurts the clients and the business. You love systems, hate chaos, and think “efficiency” is a beautiful word. You’ve managed operations before (bonus points if it was in a law firm or other professional services setting) and you’re ready to take the reins and work under the COO to run the back end of a fast-moving, values-driven firm like a well-oiled machine.
What You’ll Do (a.k.a. How You Will Be the Glue That Holds It All Together)
Technology & Systems
- Keep our software stack running like a dream—licenses, logins, integrations, and all.
- Lead new tech rollouts with minimal drama and maximum adoption.
- Be the go-to person (and patient explainer) when systems misbehave.
- Work with outside IT folks to plan, troubleshoot, and upgrade like a pro.
- Track operational expenses and make sure our tools earn their keep.
Operations Leadership
- Take direction from the COO to assist with overseeing the daily hum of firm life—making sure systems, processes, and people are aligned and humming.
- Design, implement, and refine workflows across legal, HR, and admin functions.
- Nurture relationships with vendors (and know when to recommend cutting ties with the flaky ones).
- Monitor KPIs and translate them into plain English for leadership.
- Spot operational hiccups before they turn into headaches.
Office & Facilities
- Keep our physical space functional, comfortable, and stocked with the good pens.
- Lead logistics for meetings, events, and the occasional furniture shuffle.
- Scout, plan, and prep for future office expansions.
- Make sure we never run out of coffee. Or printer toner. Or ideas.
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years in ops, admin, or office management (legal or professional services gets you bonus points)
- Strong leadership and communication chops
- Systems thinker with process-building superpowers
- Familiarity with legal tech tools (and general tech confidence)
- Google Workspace fluency, plus productivity platform savvy
- Master multitasker with a love of checklists
- High EQ, low ego, and a team-first mindset

- 💰 Competitive salary: $70,000–$90,000 DOE
