My Approach
I am a Seattle native. My clients find me to be a natural people person with a positive attitude, flexible mindset and commitment to justice. I understand that cases are won on the facts and am diligent in learning all aspects of a case through investigative interviews and detailed research.
Background
Raised in the Seattle area, Heather attended Seattle University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Directly after graduation Heather spent several years working in the banking industry before founding and operating two successful businesses in the Issaquah area. Following a passion to help others gain access to justice, Heather enrolled in the Washington State Bar Association’s APR 6 Law Clerk program, while working full time in both family and employment law. Upon passing the bar examination, Heather narrowed her focus exclusively to family law.
A member of the Washington State Bar Association and King County Bar Association, Heather enjoys her involvement in these organizations and staying abreast of current developments in her practice area. Heather also donates her time as a pro-bono attorney for the King County Bar Association Neighborhood Legal Clinics providing limited legal advice and referrals to county residents who might otherwise have no access to the legal system. Heather finds this volunteer work incredibly rewarding.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending weekends hiking in the Issaquah Alps with her dog Reggie, skiing with family in and around the Pacific Northwest and curling up with a cup of tea and a good book.
